I guess Nashville is most famous for country music, so I used a guitar for my zentangle "string".
I'm not really a huge fan of country music, per se, but I do love any kind of music with a guitar played well. I just love the sound of an acoustic guitar.
And I do love the Tennessee landscape. We are in a more rural area with rolling hills, old barns, and horses grazing in green pastures. (Well, not so green this summer since it is so hot and dry!) Here's a quick rough little sketch.

Boy, both of your tiles are great. I think I like the black and white guitar the best. Great job. I agree, that when I think of Tennessee (where I've never actually been), I think of guitars, banjos, and violins or maybe "fiddles" would be a better description. I also think of rural areas, horses, barns, and mountains. Great representation by you.
ReplyDeleteI love the first tile! Very balanced.

What a great idea to use a guitar for a string! I love your pretty background on that first tile especially. Your little sketch is so sweet and it's just how I imagined Tennessee from your description.
ReplyDeleteI love the guitar string idea. Very nice tangles within it and without. Thanks for the sketch of the rural area near-by also.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic representation of Nashville. I am really happy to see what you have done with this challenge!
